How secure is the Social Security trust fund? How much may your benefit be? You don’t want to leave money on the table, so when should you apply for benefits? How do you determine which Social Security strategy is right for you and make the most of that decision? Is it too late for you to take advantage of a strategy if you’ve already started collecting benefits? Amanda Lott, CFP and John Zeltmann of RegentAtlantic Capital, LLC will answer these questions and provide more insight to this very important topic!
As a Wealth Advisor at RegentAtlantic, Amanda Lott is responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating all aspects of client service for the team and conducting high level financial-based analyses that help clients achieve their financial goals. One of Amanda's specialties involves working with clients to maximize the value they receive from their Social Security retirement benefits, emphasizing the role those benefits play in the individual's overall financial picture. She currently is co-chairing RegentAtlantic's Financial Planning Committee. Amanda graduated as the top graduate of the College of Human Sciences at Texas Tech University with a BS in Personal Financial Planning. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association of New Jersey. Amanda is also currently serving as a member of the Texas Tech Personal Financial Planning Alumni Advisory Board. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, is a Certified Retirement Counselor®, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
As a Wealth Advisor, John Zeltmann is responsible for managing client relationships and coordinating all aspects of client service for the team. He currently serves on the firm's Investment Committee, covering the infrastructure and global large cap stock asset classes. One of John's specialties involves working with clients to help maximize the value they receive from their Social Security retirement benefits, emphasizing the role those benefits play in the individual's overall financial picture. John is an honors graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management with a focus in real estate finance, development, and asset management. John holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder.
