Special Event - New Jersey Uniform Trust Code Seminar
The Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey invites you to a seminar addressing the new New Jersey Uniform Trust code, sponsored jointly with the Morris County Bar Association Trust, Estate and Elder Law Committee. The Uniform Trust Code goes into effect July 17, 2016 and applies to all existing current and future trusts. It includes 11 mandatory provisions. This is the biggest change in Trust & Estate Law in over 10 years. Andrew DeMaio was instrumental in the passage of the UTC and has written and lectured extensively on Trusts and Estate subjects. Topics include what the UTC means for Litigation and Non-Litigated family disputes, Drafting Documents and Trust Administration under the UTC. Registration and a light dinner begin at 5:00. The session will run from 5:30 -7:30pm.

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 2.0 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 0 qualify as hours of credit for ethics/professionalism, and 0 qualify as hours of credit toward certification in civil trial law, criminal trial law, workers compensation law, municipal court law, and/or matrimonial law.
